Instructors to lead December trip to Costa Rica

Article Photo

Camps Instructors Marjie and Maggie return again, this time to lead a trip to Costa Rica in December. This will be our first ever winter-break trip, and our return to international programs that we haven't done since our Australia paleontology program in 2019.

Combining their expertise in earth and life sciences, Marjie and Maggie will be leading a program exploring the sedimentary and volcanic history of Costa Rica, as well as the ecology and evolution of the incredible wildlife of the region.

After leading the spectacularly successful Field Paleontology: Utah program last year, Maggie and Marjie are excited to lead this new ambitious outdoor education program for our students! With stops at wildlife sanctuaries, volcanos, national parks and a kayak trip, this will be an incredible learning adventure in one of the most remarkable ecosystems in the world.

Registration for Expedition: Costa Rica is currently open and will close on April 8, 2024. You can learn more on our high school camps page."
