Sternberg Science Camps Education Through Adventure

Please check out the letter from Camps Director David Levering regarding our plans for 2021 camps.

Our high school camps are built to inspire, engage, and challenge high school students excited about life and earth sciences! With only ten students per camp, adventures in the field, labs and classrooms, or online take on a close community feel. Students build knowledge and friendships through hands-on activities and experience-based group-learning strategies. Our camps are instructed by scientists and science educators, providing a safe, enriching environment for teens curious about nature in likeminded peer groups

Each of our middle school science camps get up to ten students up close with fossils, wildlife, and spectacular wonders of nature past and present! Guided by scientists and science educators, students explore and discover together. We explore the wildlife, rocks, and fossils from across the globe virtually, and on our renowned camping trips! Engaging with with a small group of science-excited peers, our students learn and grow in a supportive, encouraging atmosphere designed to make science accessible and fun!

Excitement for the natural sciences is the name of the game in our elementary camps! We use a variety of virtual, outdoor, and classroom-based education methods to make science fun, exciting, and memorable for our students. From dinosaurs to sunflowers, students will find a wide range of topics to engage their energy and curiosity while making new friends.
